Mountain was once famous for being the Grouse shooting capital of North Wales.
Originally woodland covered this landscape, but for centuries it has been
managed as heather moor land for shooting game birds. Today this area is
a great wildlife destination. | | | Some moors are wild and inhospitable places, but they are
also great places to see nature if you're prepared to look carefully. | | | - Moorlands are good places for wildlife watchers because
are rich in game birds and heathland plants.
