Farndale is the starting point for a journey to see a great spring spectacle - Grouse season.

In spring Farndale Moor is a brilliant place for bird watching - it's a riot of display of calls and mating behaviour, especially where the moor land meets the farmland.

Getting there:

Hutton le Hole is located two miles north of Kirbymoorside. Take the A170 west from Pickering.

During Easter Bank Holiday and on Sundays there is transport laid on to Farndale, you can also leap off just outside Hutton-le-Hole to see the upland wildlife.
