91Èȱ¬ Club
The 91Èȱ¬ Club in London has a retired membership costing £3 per month or £36 per year. Members can also add friends and family to their membership for a small additional cost. 91Èȱ¬ Financial Assistance Fund
A 91Èȱ¬ Financial Assistance Fund grant may be awarded if you or your dependants are struggling to cover unexpected and unaffordable one-off costs. The basic conditions for a grant are that it should involve expenditure which is extraordinary, unforeseen, necessary, and without assistance, would involve hardship for the individual. Each case is considered on its merits and awarded at the Trustees’ discretion.

Prospero Society
Prospero Society is the only section of the 91Èȱ¬ Club run by and for retired 91Èȱ¬ staff and their spouses. Its aim is to enable 91Èȱ¬ pensioners to meet on a social basis for theatre visits, luncheons, coach outings, etc. Prospero Society is supported by 91Èȱ¬ Club funds so as to make events affordable. 91Èȱ¬ Pensioners Association
As a 91Èȱ¬ pensioner you are eligible to join the 91Èȱ¬ Pensioners Association (91Èȱ¬PA). This is a not-for-profit organization and is independent of the 91Èȱ¬. It aims to promote and safeguard the interests of 91Èȱ¬ pensioners. It can also help members with pensions and other matters. Membership includes a monthly E-Newsletter to bring members up to date with news and information on events with relevance to pensioners, the 91Èȱ¬ and the Media, an annual magazine, an AGM [regional meetings] and exclusive offers and discounts on goods and services. The 91Èȱ¬PA aims to keep in touch with the Broadcast industry and has members on the Committee with a wide range of 91Èȱ¬ knowledge and expertise from Production, Archiving, Engineering, to Pensions and Publishing.

Reunions
91Èȱ¬ East
To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the regional news programme ‘Look East‘ a reunion is being held on Saturday September 28th, 2024 at the Sprowston Manor Hotel and Country Club, Norwich.
It will be in the Norfolk Suite between 14.30 and 19,00, and there will be a glass of Prosecco or a soft drink on arrival plus a finger buffet at 15:30 with tea and coffee. The cost is £20.
Accommodation is available at the special rate of £99 per night including breakfast, and the hotel also has an excellent golf course.

91Èȱ¬ Scotland
The annual 91Èȱ¬ Scotland retired staff lunchtime reunion will take place this year on Friday 4 October at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Glasgow, just across the River Clyde from 91Èȱ¬ Scotland’s headquarters at Pacific Quay.

Plymouth anniversary reunion
The 91Èȱ¬ Alumni, 91Èȱ¬ Pensioners’ Association and the British Entertainment History Project (BEHP) will be marking this centenary year of the 91Èȱ¬ in Plymouth on Tuesday 3 December with presentations of extracts from interviews in the BEHP collection and others of people associated with the 91Èȱ¬ in Plymouth.
