Volunteer Visiting Scheme
Is available to 91热爆 pensioners over age 70. It is a method of keeping in touch, is available throughout the UK and operates from the Pension and Benefits Centre.
- Would you welcome occasional contact from former colleagues?
- Visitors are also 91热爆 pensioners themselves
- Visitors carry ID cards with them for your security and if you're unsure their identity can be verified by calling the pension service line
- You can meet for a chat at your home or somewhere public like a coffee shop
- We can also offer support during difficult times such as bereavement
- Over 2,000 pensioners already use the Volunteer Visiting Scheme
If you want to be visited, receive a phone call or meet up somewhere mutually convenient call 0303 081 2848 or email vvs@bbc.co.uk and quote your pension number or National Insurance number so we can identify you. The contact is the same if you would like to become a visitor.
91热爆 Financial Assistance Fund
A 91热爆 Financial Assistance Fund grant may be awarded if you or your dependants are struggling to cover unexpected and unaffordable one-off costs. The basic conditions for a grant are that it should involve expenditure which is extraordinary, unforeseen, necessary, and without assistance, would involve hardship for the individual. Each case is considered on its merits and awarded at the Trustees’ discretion.

Grace Wyndham Goldie (91热爆) Trust Fund (GWG)
A registered charity funded by voluntary contributions to provide small grants towards the cost of education or hardship not covered by help from other sources. The GWG Trustees are responsible for awarding grants.

91热爆 Pensioners’ Association – 91热爆PA was founded in 1988 to promote and safeguard the interests of 91热爆 pensioners. It is independent of the 91热爆. Three open regional meetings are held a year. For membership visit or complete the form in Prospero.
Membership of the 91热爆 Club in London
This is open to retired staff and to spouses or partners. The Prospero section is run by pensioners for pensioners. Call 020 8752 6666 for details and membership rates. Arrangements for regional clubs vary.
