Team GB London 2012 football warm-up matches live on 91热爆 One
91热爆 One kicks off its London 2012 Olympic football coverage with Team GB Men’s and Women’s warm-up matches live from the Riverside Stadium, Middlesbrough, on Friday 20 July.
Gabby Logan presents Match Of The Day live with Team GB women versus Sweden at 3.45pm (KO 4pm), followed by Great Britain’s men against Brazil at 7.30pm (KO 7.45pm) in their only warm-up match for the London Olympics.
Guy Mowbray and Lucy Ward will provide commentary on the women’s game, with Jonathan Pearce and Mark Bright on the men’s. Guests include Faye White, Sue Smith and Robbie Savage. Reporters are Jacqui Oatley and Garth Crooks.
London 2012 marks the first time that Team GB will compete in the men’s football competition since the 1960 Olympic Games in Rome and the first time ever for the women’s team.
The game will be the only chance for fans to see the men's and women's teams play before the Olympic football tournament begins five days later when Team GB women take on New Zealand at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff (KO 4pm), with the men’s team kicking off their competition against Senegal at Old Trafford (KO 8pm), the following day, Thursday 26 July, both will also be live on 91热爆 One.
