Lee Gilbert is the resident medium and parapsychologist at the Guildhall.Ìý He believes that nine spirits reside in the building, and says that over the past few months there has been more ghostly activity than ever before.

In the past there have been reports of sightings of a White Lady who moves furniture around the building’s library.
Staff often close the bible that sits on the main table of the library to find in the morning that the White Lady has opened it up to the same page each time.
Other people claim that they've seen legs grow from the portrait of Henry Earl of Huntington, which hangs in the Mayor's Parlour.
Historians say the building could be haunted as it's played a key part in city life since the time of Richard II.
