Your Story: Mrs Walton at 21 |

Her best event was her 21st birthday because she went to Marsden Groto for a meal. When she was 21 she used to work for Barclays Bank because it was good money. Things were a lot cheaper when she was 21 - pop was 10p, bread 12p, stamps 5p, and a nice house cost £2,000. She used to live in a flat on the 12th floor with her husband who had dark hair and was of medium height with a moustache, and used to celebrate christmas at her family's home. Music has also changed a lot. She used to like listening to rock and roll.
I asked her if she had any pets, she didn't keep any.
A lot of her happy memories are of when she used to be with her friends. She turned 21 in 1973
