when thomas jones first heard about the war, he was on holiday, in the south of england. he was very suprised to hear about the war at first. he wa a member of the RAF. thomas was just coming back from a mission in denmark when his plane got shot down. all the crew managed to survive, but days later one died off the injury gaind in the crash.
