One night in winter 1943 a concert was on in the village of llanuwchllyn, many people came from all around the county, and that's a lot of people!!! some of them were reallated to me and my friend. It was very dark and because of all the cars and people they had to use their headlights and ignore the blackout rules. Of course because they were in the country they didn't think about Nazi aeroplanes coming their way, but oh they were wrong. my great uncle was nearly hit by a bomb.
