Here we turn the spotlight on Gloucester-born rower Natasha Page. She faces a few quirky questions...
What is the first regatta you remember watching? The first international regatta I remember watching was Zagreb Juniors (in Croatia) where I went to watch family friends and Beth, actually, who was racing there as well.
Help playing audio/video Who is rowing's best pundit?Andy Hodge, because he's a pretty awesome athlete and he's physiologically really talented and quite a good person for men to look up to. A lady who's really physiologically talented in the women's team is Anna Bebbington in the Women's Skull. What's been your worst fashion crime?Leggins! Natasha Page Which charity do you support?I quite often like putting things towards breast cancer and leukaemia. What's your favourite biscuit?I like shortbread, because it's yummy and it's full of butter - very naughty. My boyfriend quite likes it as well, so I guess when he has it I'm eating it, which probably isn't a good thing. Can you play a musical instrument? No I can't. I'd like to be able to. I played a little bit of the guitar with my Dad once and I wish I'd carried on, but rowing got in the way a little bit. If you could be in a band, which one would you choose?Spice Girls! I'd be Scary Spice. They're pretty cool and would be a pretty cool band to be in (in their day). Which two of your team mates would you want with you on a quiz team?Jess Eddie - she'll love me for saying this. She's a bit of a geek with general knowledge. We had a quiz when we were away and she was revising the night before. Also, Sarah Winckless. She's a bit older than the rest of is and her knowledge, I guess, would be a bit better than ours. Last book you read?'The Book Thief'. I got handed it to by Tash (Natasha) Howard and my mum apparently read it in book club, but it was quite sad...a bit depressing. Has rowing ever brought you to tears?Yes. Injuries have generally brought me to tears quite a lot - at first you think you're alright, for quite a while, but then it just hits you. Or being very tired, you generally just burst out crying for no reason and then you realise a bit later than you're absolutely knackered...basically. If money was no object, what would be the first thing you would buy?A house, without a doubt. I've got a house at the moment but my parents have helped me a lot with it and it's definitely not all mine yet and it's a very small house. I'd love to be able to buy a massive house and have lots of room Where in the world was your best night out?Druisberg Juniors in Germany in 2001. It was just really good fun and it was just a bit of a dodgy part. It wasn't that well organised but I had lots of really fun people around me and it was after a whole year of not being able to go out and stuff...but that was quite a long time ago.
