Eight of the country's top chefs compete to cook at a fabulous banquet, celebrating the best local produce from around the British Isles. They are fiercely focussed on the task in hand as they want the honour of serving a dish to HRH The Prince of Wales, who is to host the special banquet.

The finalists cook their main courses for the judges, who are joined by a fourth member to assist them in their decision.
