Mr Aslam and Mrs Sabir
Mr Aslam moved to the UK in the 1960s when he was in his early teens. When his brother opened Aagrah restaurant, he began working there as a waiter. His ambition was to work in the kitchen, so he went to his sister-in-law Mrs Sabir who taught him how to cook authentic Kashmiri dishes. Having got into the kitchen, Mr Aslam now runs a chain of the restaurants and Mrs Sabir鈥檚 recipes are the foundation of today鈥檚 menus.
