Glastonbury 1999
1999 was the year that Jean Eavis, wife of Michael Eavis and "mother" of Glastonbury Festival, sadly died. A winged wicker sculpture was burned in her honour and fireworks erupted into a moonlit sky to commemorate her life. Acts included Hole, Blondie, RE
