Pumped up hits

Indie rock trio Foster The People head to the Other Stage to hypnotise the Worthy Farm lodgers with their atmospheric, dance-oriented melodic pop.

The band first performed at Glastonbury in 2011 following the release of their first studio album Torches.

The band hail from Los Angeles and were formed in 2009 by multi-instrumentalist singer/songwriter Mark Foster. Foster waited tables and wrote jingles for a living before scoring hit with the song Pumped Up Kicks which went viral after it was picked up for an advertising campaign.

Foster The People have been welcomed to a range of 91Èȱ¬ radio programmes, performing live sessions for Lauren Laverne on 6 Music and at Maida Vale for Zane Lowe, don’t miss their psychedelic, and dance-oriented pop on the Other Stage at this year's Glastonbury Festival.
