Finalist in the 91Èȱ¬ Sound Of 2014 Poll, George Ezra is a modern day pop star with a vintage voice. Discovered by 91Èȱ¬ Introducing (he played their stage at Glastonbury 2013), Ezra has been supported by his local 91Èȱ¬ station in Bristol and propelled to the Radio 1 playlist with modern bluesy tracks such as Budapest and Cassy-O’.
His showing at Glastonbury last year coincided with the release of his debut EP, Did You Hear The Rain? after which George spent several months travelling by train to fill support slots across the country and continuing to pen new music. More touring has followed in 2014 including a cross-European trip to Budapest to mark the launch of his album Wanted On Voyage, released at the end of June.
