Sheer perfection

Suffolk's guitar-toting troubadour last played Glasto in 2011 when he headlined the 91Èȱ¬ Introducing Stage.

He returns in 2014 as a world-conquering hero and friend of the stars having written for One Direction and with Taylor Swift and Pharrell Williams.

His eagerly anticipated second album x (multiply) hits the streets just a few days before he arrives in Pilton. Recorded in Los Angeles with super-producer Rick Rubin at the controls for many of the tracks, Ed says he "started off making another acoustic record, and it turned into a neo-soul-funk record".

He's already proved he can win over the O2 and Madison Square Gardens armed with only an acoustic guitar and a loop pedal. He's bound to elicit an equally ecstatic response from the Pyramid Stage crowd.
