Perfect Scandi pop

After an extremely successful career as singer and songwriter in The Cardigans, Persson returns to Glastonbury with her first solo offering, Animal Heart.

Loved for singles such as My Favourite Game which perfectly illustrate their blithe pop music, Persson released 4 albums with The Cardigans before creating her first work away from the band with A Camp. Her breezy vocals have guested on singles with the Manic Street Preachers and Tom Jones, but it's only now that she is really striking out on her own, producing darker pop songs concerned with primitive behaviours. One of Sweden's biggest music stars, you'd be no fool to fall in love with Persson.
