Stratospheric rock

A quartet led by the wonderfully named Sam McTrusty, Twin Atlantic come to the John Peel stage with massive single Heart and Soul in their arsenal to impress the Pilton revellers.

After a sterling appearance last month for Radio 1's Big Weekend, the Glaswegians have gained a cult following since they started in 2007. Support slots for Biffy Clyro and Thirty Seconds to Mars followed, plus they have seen their music go stratospheric after single Free became the soundtrack for the Red Bull Stratos space jump by Felix Baumgartner.

With new single Brothers and Sisters just hitting the airways and an album to follow in August, get ready to rock out on the Saturday night.
