The psychedelic pop maestro born as Connan Tant Hosford makes his Pilton debut on the Park stage.
Hailing originally from the tiny New Zealand town of Te Awanga, Connan formed Connan and the Mockasins in Wellington, then relocated to the UK in 2006. By 2008 he had become a solo artist and returned to Te Awanga for long enough to record the album Forever Dolphin Love in a tent in his parents' front garden.
He signed to UK DJ and producer Erol Alkan's Phantasy Sound label, toured with Crowded House and Radiohead and collaborated with Charlotte Gainsbourg. 2013's spacey funk opus Caramel continued his tradition of recording in unusual locations - this time a Tokyo hotel room. Expect a set with dreamy grooves and heavy riffs in equal measure.
