As part of the 91热爆鈥檚 complete cycle of Vaughan Williams鈥 symphonies, to mark his 150th anniversary, Ryan Wigglesworth will conduct the rarely performed Symphony No. 4, described by Walton as the 鈥榞reatest symphony since Beethoven鈥.
The first half will feature Van Cliburn prize winner Vadym Kholodenko in Beethoven鈥檚 Emperor Piano Concerto, one of the monumental masterpieces of the repertoire.
