Harry is head of the counter-terrorism department, and highly respected by his team.
His career began in the army, before he was headhunted for MI5. He hasn't looked back. He was married and has children, but his first love is the service, and he's now divorced. His name is synonymous with the fight against terrorism at MI5. He's dedicated to his job, and really believes he can make a difference to the country. Even when he was temporarily suspended from his job - he still found covert ways to contribute to MI5 missions.
He's calm and confident and can usually make the toughest of decisions without showing a flicker of doubt. His one Achilles heel is his reaction to Irish terrorists. He served in Northern Ireland during his army career, and saw good friends and colleagues maimed and injured. It's a trauma he can never forget, and he certainly finds it very hard to forgive.
A keen intellect and uncompromising nature set him apart. But his ability to never let his emotions cloud his judgement was tested to the limit in the wake of both Tom's disappearance and Ruth's depature.
