Ola was born in Poland, in a small town called Nasielsk and grew up in Legionowo (near Warsaw). She lived there until she came to England aged 17.

Ola began dancing at the age of 10, at her school. The teacher told her parents that she had great talent, and by the age of 12 she was competing. She won the Polish Championship at 17, and then went to the World Championships where she was placed in the Top 12 in November 1999.

Ola split from her dance partner shortly after the World Championships, and was in the process of looking for a new partner when James Jordan phoned her and asked if he could come to Poland to try out as her partner. So, in March 2000, James arrived in Poland and they matched perfectly. In April 2000, Ola moved to England.

Within six months of meeting they entered their first competition and went onto compete all over the world, winning many championships and becoming one of the top 12 dance couples in the world.

After getting married in October 2003, James and Ola moved to Hong Kong where they both taught Latin American dance for four years. After three years they both got itchy feet and decided to hit the dance circuit once more, and at this point hit the peak of their competitive career.

James and Ola entered 91热爆 One's Strictly Come Dancing series four. Since taking part, Ola has appeared in the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour as well as performing dance showcase across the UK and Europe. Last year, Ola partnered 91热爆 sports presenter Chris Hollins, winning the series and becoming Strictly Come Dancing Champions, 2009.

Ola is a judge on Dancing On Wheels and says... 鈥淲heelchair Dance Sport is very big in my home country, Poland. I used to train in the same rehearsal rooms as some of the best wheelchair dancers in the world. So I know how tough it is and I know how good our couples will have to be. But it鈥檚 like anything, you may have natural talent but you also need to work hard, be dedicated and put the effort in. I only want to send the best couple to represent the UK at the European Championships.鈥�
