Tom Hollister Trio sign deal with Gn'R manager

A couple of weeks back our colleagues at 91Èȱ¬ Wales News brought the news of Abercarn guitarist Chris Buck being proclaimed the "best up-and-coming guitarist" in the World by none other than ex-Guns N' Roses manager Alan Niven.

Well, now the band in which he plays, , has been signed to a management deal by Niven, after he fielded press calls from around the world in the days after the story broke.

Niven looked after Axl Rose's crew of legendary rock fiends in their glory years of the 1980s. And that's not the only classic rock connection for the Cardiff blues rock trio. They're currently recording at ex-Traffic man Steve Winwood's Cotswold studio.

The band's forthcoming EP, Tied Up In Blue, will be launched at a gig at Cardiff's re-opened Globe venue on 3 June.
