Certainly one of the best guitarists and singers to come out of the UK. Born with a future, died with a past. Will be sorely missed but will be remembered on my iPod. Keep on crintin', Micky.

Later, Micky was to become a friend whose sense of fun was infectious and whose smile lit up any room he was in.
I suppose, in a way, we thought we were prepared due to his long illness. Not so though. We went white with shock and sorrow on hearing the news. We truely thought we were already missing him. Not so though, because by golly we miss him now alright.
Our thoughts are with you Jenny, George and Tracey.
