This week's 91Èȱ¬ Radio Wales Arts Show takes a sneaky peak at the newly redeveloped and rebranded (formerly Oriel Mostyn Gallery) in Llandudno, following its three-year, £5.1m refit and expansion.
Mostyn reopens officially to the public on Saturday 22 May 2010 but, ahead of the grand unveiling, Arts Show presenter Nicola Heywood Thomas was let in early to have a look round.

Tonight's Arts Show will speak to the curator at Mostyn, Martin Barlow, ahead of the launch of the gallery and new programme of exhibitions. The programme also talks to several of the artists who are exhibiting, and gathers the opinions of some residents and visitors to Llandudno on the subject of the gallery revamp.
Among the new exhbitions at Mostyn is We Have The Mirrors, We Have The Plans - considered the centrepiece of the gallery's new programme.
Occupying four gallery spaces it includes painting, drawing, sculpture, installation, text, video and sound pieces, and is part of an initiative to make an ongoing assessment of the best developments in contemporary art in Wales.

Meanwhile, Along The Line is a display by photographer Darryl Lonsbrough of his large-scale colour photographs that depict familiar yet largely ignored, unnoticed and unloved north Walian places.
