One of the features of the breakfast news on Wednesday 13th June 2007, was about properties which are privately rented out but not up to standard.

I also say that councils, should be included, because were I live at the moment over the past few years my bathroom has been a nightmare in that a leak is causing condensation and at one stage my bathroom had 7-8 plumbers but still they could not resolve the leak, mind you the work was completed in September 2006 but alas before the end of the year they was still a leak which I reported and it was only after I complained to my local council that the council has agreed to rectify the problem.

So in my mind Councils are also prime suspects.

Many thanks
