Heaven spare us from the preaching of Libby 'Dullsville' Purves. If what she wants is a 91热爆 with more 'You and Yours' / 'Learning Curve' greyness to appeal to what Janet Street-Porter called the 'M-People' [Middle Aged, Middle Class and Mediocre] then I'm having none of it.
Give me some of those 'hip minorities' if it means slightly more colourful comedies and 'In Our Time' with the far superior Melvyn Bragg.
Be honest, who would you rather be stuck in a lift with ? M-People Purves or Minorities Melvyn ?
Are any of the news editors who blog here planning on addressing some of the conclusions of the 'impartiality report'?
Hm is it just me or is not entirely surprising that we haven't seen any editorial comment on the publication of the 91热爆's Impartiality report?
I can't help but think that if the report hadn't drawn some of the conclusions it did then there'd be a 'We told you so' blog on here somewhere!
So come on Editors, where are your blogs telling us how you're going to address this now that the 91热爆 has finally admitted it has a problem?
As a licence fee payer I think I'm entitled to know!
