It's hard to make a judgement listening to these kids what they are like, although I notice from the pen pictures that their hobbies include learning to fly, paragliding and ballet. Couldn't find anyone from council estate then?
I'd love to have the chance that these kids have got, but how many schools have their own RSL stations? It strikes me that because of the headhunting style selection process it wouldn't be possible for any of the contenders to come from a state school, none of them could afford to run a radio station because of the rubbish levels of funding most recieve. I'm having enough trouble getting the my university to fork out some money to reinstate the students radio station there even though I'm on a broadcasting course!
For me its DARRYL...
He has the best voice and its easy to understand what he is saying. He doesnt sound 30 yet he clearly understands what he is talking about. The rest seem like they dont know what they are reading they are just reading it. Also he sounds like he is saying it off the cuff rather that reading from a paper like the others.
It was kind of hard. But its Darryl for me!
By the way. I myself am under 18! And its hard to find sombody like darryl. Sombody not sounding 30. Yet not sounding like a chipmonk!
