Michele Hanson
Michele Hanson has been writing columns on and off for the Guardian since 1983: for twelve years she wrote one on getting old - detailing life with her elderly mother, who came to live with her aged 89 and died aged 99. Her book of these columns entitled "Living With Mother" is out at the moment.
She was previously a teacher.
Michele has recently gone back to University to do an MA in 18th Century History. She lives with her daughter and two dogs in North London.
