Gtreat that 91Èȱ¬ have now decided this will be about all disabled peoples experiences.

So far most attention has been on the experience of people with learning difficulties which sepeartes us into disability sub groups.

This is a national issue which needs a national response, all disbled people could be victims.

Having been attacked several times as a wheelchiar user just for being out and about I know what is going on as well as campaigning on this issue for twenty years.

Disabled people know what we experience, we also know what solutions are needed but often we are talked about without being involved as evryone becomes an expert on our lived experience.

So I hope it will be disabled people themselves who are not just interviewed, as victims, but also as campaigners and the motivators around disability hate crime.

    Nothing about us without us!

    Hi

As co-ordinator of the National Disability Hate Crime Network, I agree with the comments made by MERIDI.
I am in contact with October Films, but we need more help, so please lets use this opportunity to make the programme the best yet.
