If you heard last night's In Touch you will have discovered what Ouch's own Emma Tracey doesn't want for Christmas, an iPhone! In fact, it's more of a love-hate relationship, on the one hand, cool gadget, on the other horribly inaccessible touch screen.

A cool new design concept aims to bridge this gap. It comprises a silicon overlay, which adds bas-relief buttons on top of the screen and a custom application which keeps the controls in a fixed position.

Unfortunately, as it is just a prototype at this stage. It's not like to be seen under anyone's tree this Christmas, at any rate. Read more on the

What everyone in the world needs for Christmas is an Evergreen Tree with roots on ready to plant in the garden or local park so that some of the CO2 in the atmosphere can be reduced. It's called 'Real Life Recycling'.

What you put under it, ie that purfect present can be wrapped in a new teatowel for the washer uppa, or if bigger a duvet for the bed or a pillowcase or two. This is assuming it is not breathing of course, like a puppy or kitten which will invariably demolish it before it gets off the ground.

Then everyone can get a present they 'need' and there's a lot less worrying and cost of the recycling going on today.

What will the paper manufacturers do then? Make teatowels, tablecloths and bedding of course!
    And have trees growing!

Have a happy re-cycling Christmas with the new wrapping. xx Dee J.

I heard this on 91Èȱ¬iplayer! I reckon an iphone would be cool if it was accessible for people like Emma and Damon to use, but I would like one for myself but as it is expensive, I might buy an HTC Touch phone in white instead!
