Indeed.... they've practically begged me to audition in the past when they heard I was disabled ... not sure whether a nice high quota of crips auditioning equals a nice high quota of crips making it through to the show, but we shall see. But can anyone arrange to take a week off (or more, if you keep winning)? Can they pay for their PA to go with them 24/7?

Erm, presumably when they say they're keen to get some disabled contestants on the show, what they actually mean is that they're keen to get some visibly (as opposed to visually) disabled contestants on the show? I mean, they're not going to get much kudos from taking on people who could pass as "normies", are they? Yours cynically, etc.

Wasn't there a blind person who tried to get onto the show who was turned down? Perhaps I'll have to try to audition!

This is a change of subject. I watched the lottery gameshow tonight and was amazed that the last question about hippopotamuses was allowed in its form. Hippopotamuses belong to Artiodactyla and suina to which pigs and peccaries belong. One might as well classify all ungulates (including antelope) as whales and I think the five contestants were right to say that hippos` are nearer to pigs than whales! what do you all think? Regards from Shirley Ps, TV seems obsessed with so called beautiful people, when did we see crooked teeth last let alone any other so called imperfection.
