"Just thought you might like to know that my husband (electric wheelchair user) is trapped on a bendy bus outside - of all places - TFL Windsor House [Transport for London's head office] because the ramp won't go back in!!!!"

This happened to me when I was out with Lisa Egan (another Ouch contributor). She seems to be an expert on the reasons why ramps break (usually driver error) and has a stack of "Ramp not working?" postcards ready to send to TFL on each occasion. Sounds like you should get some - and they should train their drivers properly!
