Doomwatching

Martin Rosenbaum | 12:57 UK time, Tuesday, 15 August 2006

A little off topic, but since freedom of information is only part of my work at the 91Èȱ¬, this is to show what I do with the rest of my time. I've just produced a Radio 4 documentary, , about the work of emergency planners, which is broadcast this evening at 8.00 pm and repeated on Sunday, 20 August, at 5.00 pm.

Doom watching eh? God, talk about a scary name... what is it with you 91Èȱ¬? It really seems that your only mission in life is to scare the **** out of us! Even down to this level... Well thanks for reminding us, again, of the dangers we all apparently face and how doom is just around the corner. Nice one.

It was a fascinating programme. The craters on the moon just show us how often it can happen. Lucky for us we have the atmosphere which burns up a lot of the space debris.

Is there any chance this programme will be released as a podcast?

Ian -
Unfortunately it's not one of the limited number of Radio 4 programmes selected for podcasting - sorry about that.
