Handwriting test: Can you crack the PM's strategy?
The Cabinet met today to discuss political strategy in the run-up to the election. The cameras were let in briefly ahead of the get together and a team from Newsnight was there. We didn't get to film the meeting, but we did get a close up of Prime Minister Gordon Brown's notes and we want your help to decipher them - what do you think was top of the PMs list?

Maybe "FISH"? . . . is it his grocery list?
All I can really say is . . . God help the clerical staff who have to type up the minutes. LOL

Over and over.
It's a fun game, but in recent months any 'accidental' sneaky peek at a document captured by the media, has to be viewed as suspect at best.
I tend to go on what actually is said, or done, and that is more than depressing enough to endure.

I know you need to keep files small for the webpage but isn't there anything better than that small jpg file available?
Anyway, I look forward to some analysis from a handwriting expert.

In line 6 I read Can we, line 13 So can we (though it looks more like tan we) line 17 final response, line 18 thank?
In line 8 does it say vital, and perhaps Omissions to start line 10?
The sideways smaller version is clearer than the blown up one but still difficult.
Not very helpful really.

Further to our conversation please find attached the letter we discussed
Needless to say I have been concerned for sometime about the level of oppression we have all felt under the current Labour Government
and have felt the need to do my bit to break it.
The collapse of the New Labour I had hoped would result in a change of Government and give the nation their true freedom again, of course inflicting such harm on a Politcal Party especially one with such a long and noble tradition is heartbreaking but when it has lost touch not only with its own values but all that is decent what choice has one but to close ones eyes and do what is needed.
The move against the 91热爆 by the Conservative Party in league with those who would dearly like to see the 91热爆鈥檚 world standing and voice silenced that they may usurp its place had to be stopped, whilst I like to think that one can stop such a direction of travel in the short term, we have all seen under New Labour how insidious a Government can be and how over the long term it can get its way however indecent. It is clear that at present the Conservative Party are set to be in power for a very long time and I feel the need to come forward and protect the 91热爆 and their place and voice in a world that gives us much concern for all our futures not just in this country but everywhere.
Under the circumstances I feel it is sadly necessary to step forward and open the debate on what sort of country and world we want our children to grow up in, I am not so foolish as to think I can change the world the battle we fight today has been fought many times threw history but as I believe Colonel Blimp was once told some evils must be beaten at any cost as failure will not be a setback but a disaster.
Yours Sincerely
Robin Rowlands
Do you believe鈥 the only reliable, durable and perpetual guarantor of independence is profit鈥 if you do not want a world where every nation is ruled by profit and every nation at the mercy of that ever smaller elite who are its masters and can play even nations such as China and the USA off against one another then you must set me free to act in a way you can鈥檛. It is the nature of a cuckoo that despite its diminutive size it quickly gets to the task of pushing the biggest sibling out of the nest, the parent birds probably dismiss such jostling as the usual squabbling one expects of an ever more crowded nest the smaller siblings are simply relieved that it is their fat brother and not them who is being pushed around but it is the nature of a cuckoo it does not share the nest. Look at the Modern World when every high street of every town is dominated by just a few players and the same Companies and Brands seek to expand in every country from China to Russia to America the other Newspapers are deluding themselves if they believe that unfettered PROFIT will guarantee more choice in FLEET STREET as it were than the HIGH STREET. The son of the journalist I am well aware that the attention of the Press is a double edged sword and I and my wife may well pay a high price for raising our heads but if our children can grow up in a world where profit does not rule unfettered maybe it is a price we have to pay. Murdock says he believes people should be free People should be careful what they wish for 鈥 set me free show the world that as long as Britannia rules the waves we will all have some sight of freedom however distant.
Robin Rowlands
That David Cameron, should align himself with Murdock against the 91热爆 raises serious questions over his suitability for the leadership of the country and the value system of the Conservative Party. They say that when you have excluded the impossible what is left however unlikely must be the truth. Strange as it may seem I鈥檓 not a political sort of person I know nothing about the liberal party and I have never had any desire to enter politics and don鈥檛 intend to change my mind now. What a bloody mess. Can you imagine me going anywhere near the House of Parliament they would all be 鈥渢hrowing themselves of the balconies鈥.
