The stars of Stonehouse
Next week on the show we will be visiting all the streets in the county that have suffered with road works this year.
We will kick off at Stonehouse. A recent ceremony dedicated ten newly-planted trees as part of a traffic calming scheme in the high street. Six and a half thousand pounds was raised to buy and plant them.
Look out for us in Stonehouse, Cirencester, Gloucester and Cheltenham next week.

The burgers of Stonehouse haven`t finished the job. When I walked through on Friday the trees I saw lacked ties to the post either side of them. They might impede vandals and assist the saplings until their roots get a good hold below ground.
I`m also not pleased that the car park charges a minimum of 30p. I never begrudged the 10p it used to cost. I loathe carparking fees. If the council want shoppers in town centres the parking should be free.We never go to Stroud these days because the parking there is appalling and expensive.AND there are so few shops worth visiting anyway.
Happy Christmas and I hope Santa sends you a camper van.
Gavin.
