Well, well, well... welcome back to the 91Èȱ¬ Formula 1. I've missed you!
I am writing this on a flight between Melbourne and Kuala Lumpur where we're flying for the . It is round two of what has started as a knockout season, and we're expecting more fun and games this coming weekend - rain is predicted.
I am not sure what your perspective was of the Melbourne race but I thought you might like to hear mine.

Evening all,
It's 9pm, I'm in my hotel room in (a short hop from the track on the ) and I'm watching a fascinating documentary on Winston Churchill's bodyguard.
I decided that after thinking, talking, watching and writing for the past five days, just an hour focussing on something totally different would be good for me - it was this or a show about a vacuum cleaner that works by using steam and a weird 'magic soaking up cloth'... I think I chose wisely!

Hi guys,
Our first full day in today and having been into the city centre there is a real feeling that the anticipation is starting to build, with banners, cars, grid girls and entertainment stages seemingly filling every spare bit of ground.

Well, this is a first for me. Just a couple of weeks after writing my first blog, I'm composing this one at somewhere above as I join the bulk of our production team who are all on-board as we head to for race one.
I just glanced out of the window at China at night - twinkling lights following a river that seemed to be impossibly curvy and above me the thinnest slither of moon with what was probably a satellite glimmering inside the crescent. Quite something.
As ever my timing is perfection. Ledgy - as everyone calls commentator Jonathan Legard - is sitting next to me and clearly he's got the right idea. He prepared for his first TV F1 commentary by sleeping like a baby for five hours. I need to get my globetrotting skills as well polished as his.
I drunk too much bottled water, needed the loo, clambering over a dozy commentator in the dark cabin, returned and repeated the whole process about another five times.
I struggled to get comfortable, watched (disappointing) and (Micky Rourke), not even the could relax me to a state of even mild sleepy drifting.

The weekend's just around the corner and it's my last one here in the UK before the season starts.
Most of the 91Èȱ¬ production team fly out next Sunday to and then the prep really cranks up a gear for the first race.
I can't believe how quickly my inaugural season has rolled around. I was at on Thursday chatting to Sir Frank's daughter Claire and she was giving me tips on how to avoid piling on the weight when travelling the globe. I declined the offer of a regular Friday night run around each circuit... at least until I've built up my fitness a little!

Morning,
Hope you all had good weekends. We spent yesterday hanging out with our good friends in Tunbridge Wells. While the wives discussed weddings and looked back at their respective albums, my mate Grant and I gloomily discussed relegation.
He's a fan and I support ... Thank goodness two weeks from today I can forget football a little as I'll be on the other side of the world having arrived in Melbourne with the 91Èȱ¬ production team for .
So, a few people wanted to know how I landed a "free" at just 20 years of age having only ever driven my Mum's gorgeous "pistachio green" VW Polo 1.3 until that point.

Morning everyone, thanks for your messages yesterday. And, 'pSynrg', no doubt a bit of "my driver's better than yours" will follow - an aspect I really enjoy about F1, actually. And as of today there are two more drivers on the grid for you all to discuss this coming season.
