Left vote split
- Brian Taylor

Tommy Sheridan has forecast that the Left vote will split between his Solidarity and his former party, the Scottish Socialists.
He says there may not be room for both, given a turnout of around 60%.
Mr sheridan says he had hoped for a higher turnout.
In Glasgow, Tommy Sheridan and his former colleague Rosie Kane are head to head on the list.

Tommy Sheridan, something about that man just represents Scotland, pride, determination and sheer grit. He was smeared and destroyed by the media yet he still stands up to fight for what he believes in...
Good comments from Tommy
He's right when he says that France's recent election turnout puts Scotland's in the shade.
Also - it's true that two different voting systems are potentially confusing.
& I too used my votes to vote for very different parties.
Mr Taylor, you're doing a great job there!
It would be a real shame if all the socialists wipe themselves out and New Labour gain.
Tragic.
