No snow at the top - but problems at the bottom

Many delegates hoping to arrive today have come unstuck. There have been 5 hour delays on flights from London and other European cities. I am told it is the first time in 37 years that Zurich airport has been partly closed due to bad weather causing problems for the conference. Others have been diverted elsewhere in Europe, notably Milan.

How do you get from Italy to Davos? Skis may be the best option.

Davos can go to hell. Another talking fashion shop for the rich and famous and politcians.
So called enviromentalist will arrive in private jets, pop stars will arrive for their photoshoot. Come to think about it how much has Bono really done to help the impoverished in these meetings, leaders will hear him out politely then do their own thing. Give me a break!

This is a bit off-topic, sorry. Can you tell me if there are any representatives from the Government of Canada attending the conference? Or, where I can find a list of delegates?
Thanks,

Why are these people flying to Davos from the UK? They could take the Eurostar to Paris and then by other high speed trains most of the rest of the way. Do people like Bono ever take the train?
