Our big Rallyoke rehearsal

Hello and a very good afternoon to you.

Chris pointed out that I hadn’t blogged for a while so I thought I better get on it.

I’m currently blogging from a very exciting moment. In preparation for our impending Rallyoke tour, Team Moyles (consisting of Chris, Dave, Dom, Carrie, Aled and me – so the usual people) are all at Maida Vale. Get this we’re rehearsing with a live band.

Here are some pics:

For most of the tour we’re using a good old karaoke machine, but the finale is in London so we’ve decided to make it a glitzy affair and sing to a live band.

At the moment I’m sat just outside the studio and I can hear Chris singing (sounding very good). Everyone’s turned into wannabe music professionals…talking about lines, monitors and things like that. All very amusing!

I’m so excited about Rallyoke. Can’t believe it starts a week on Friday. I have to say behind the scenes things are really shaping up. There’s slight stress, but I think it’s going to be great. Chris will be announcing the guest line up tomorrow. You can come along too. Make sure you listen tomorrow to find out how.

Another big thing that we haven’t talked on air much is the Truck of Luck. We did this two years ago, where each day during the tour we fill a big truck with prizes and you in listener land get to win the entire contents. Aled and I have been selling our souls to get prizes and they are BIG. You’ll like them.

Oh lord…Dom is now singing and executive producer Rhys has brought out the tambourine. At this point I have to go...

Over and out

Hi Rachel,
Nice to read your blog. And I once shared the same chocolate craze as you! :P
I need to say, that Jonathan Ross is an absolute legend! He's so warm, funny, professional and knowledgeable on almost everything. Aled really shouldn't have expected otherwise. He's as endearing as he is on tv. Maybe you can get him on one of the rallyoke. That would be great!
Keep up the good work and get some rest as well. Cheers. xxx

Where it says 'Rachel' below the title of your post here, on bloglines it says "In Rachel.'

Well, I thought it was funny, in a Carry On kinda way.
