A Heart Shaped Pizza Is Just Wrong
14th of February and the day when the nation goes love mad. The only day when you think buying a fluffy devil is normal!!! We were sent a heart shaped pizza this morning - thats just wrong isn't it? Cake and Chocolates yes but pizza is going too far - did you hear about some bloke who spent thousands on a pizza for his wife that had caviar, oysters and champagne on it..Give me a hawaiian any day - or bbq chicken can be nice as a change...
We've kind of boycotted the usual love guff on the show today but still its nice to drop in a bit of Lionel or a power ballad or two....
I was planning to go out for dinner tonight with Captain Mannering but have cancelled - just not sure it would be much fun sitting in a posh restaurant where you can't muck about and be silly, loads of couples all sat there thinking the same thing and being charged a ridiculous amount for the priviledge. Instead my other half gets to sample my cooking skills!! Am going for a beef wellington type affair - a bit bold but we'll see how it goes - hopefully if that turns out badly I can make up for it with a bottle of bubbly or two..Problem is he's an Arsenal fan too (I can forgive him - we can't all be perfect) and their replay against Bolton's on the Beeb tonight - not sure my wellington can compete with that! Couple of mates are going speed dating - that sounds like a crazy night..

sausage and chips on a pizza - much better. I discovered the wonder of this is Sorrento.
As for valentines - bah humbug. Hope you had a good night avoiding the overpriced restaurants.
