Blood suckers!

Rachel | 07:11 UK time, Friday, 16 June 2006

MattI hate mosquitos. What is their purpose other than to just bug people in hot countires. You wouldn't even class Germany as a typically hot country, but I suppose we are in the middle of the countryside.

Well acording to its the female mosquitos that require 'a meal of blood'. Carrie, Rachel and myself seem to have been getting the worst of it. Bizarrely we've all got a bite on the same part of our neck, but there's little doubt that its Carrie who has the biggest lump...on her shin.

Whilst having a 'compare and contrast our mosquito bites' session in the car the other night Rachel came up with the suggestion of doing a 'bite' photo gallery on the web-site. Maybe even with a little 'guess who's bite this is' game. Truth be told this had already crossed my mind, but I'm very doubtful if you really want to see that. Plus, I have to look at close up pictures of mosquito bites for a couple of hours to get it all ready!

Would you really want to see that? I'll be waiting for your (hopefully negative) comments.

I make this a split decision. In that case I'll get one photo or two photos today and put a link up on the blog - if you really want to check it out.

We'll try and make it a good un.

When I went to the Amazon last summer i ended up with 52 bites on my legs in total. One of the girls in my team had each of her mosquito bites come up as giant blisters! Unless your bites are worse than that i can live without seeing them !

Yuck! no! though mabey a match the bite to the team member competition. but try putting a mosquito net over the window, then you get the benefit of fresh air minus mosquitos!
