Almost out of pants

Comedy DaveDear International Friends,

Welcome to my second blog live from Germany. I know that Aled and Carrie have done loads of these and have basically just been showing off, but I've just not got round to doing one even though 'Online Matt' the web geek, has been bugging me everyday to write something.

So to update you all, everything's fine in Germany ta. We're all having quite a nice time and working dead hard and stuff. Aside from watching England, the football's been very exciting and and we look forward to another groundbreaking team selection and formation from Sven for Saturday's quarter final match against Portugal in Gelsenkirchen.

In other news, I did some washing for the first time yesterday, and it's nearly dry now which is good news, as I was nearly out of underpants.

Wish you were here. Say hello to anyone that knows me, and I'll write something next week maybe if we're still in Germany.

Think I might go for a swim now, so until next time......

Bienvenue and Guten Tag
Dave

Great show on Friday. Hilarious!

I was a little worried when I heard your team were heading for Germany. My one and only trip to Germany was marred by a visit to a nightclub near
Hannover. After I'd been there about ten minutes a gang of about fifty Neo nazi bikers turned up and within minutes they were informed that an Englishman was on the premises. My German friend was told that I had five minutes to leave the club if I valued my life. Only problem was these knife wielding, leather scad morons were stood by the only exit. I then had to wade through what seemed like an endless sea of Nazis, each one of them eyeballed me with the kind of distaste you'd give a paedophile or rapist. Hmm interesting experience, i left unscathed, that was fifteen years ago and i haven't been back since! Have you had any similar experiences?

Dave, it may seem like your job, I don't know how to word this, you may feel unappreciated, but I like many of your listeners work alone , 4am starts, but you guys keep me entertained and the time flies by, long may it continue!

Give Moyles some stick, I love the show, he's hilarious but it's about time you and the team humiliated him once and for all!

Let me know your thoughts if you have time.

Rocky

Hey Dave! I have been enjoying looking at the online photos of the team's time in Germany, but I have to wonder...why is it that you always have the strangest looks on your face? Almost as if you are in pain all the time...

Hope you are ok after all :)

Sounds like you're working hard. Probably closer to hardly working, but enjoy it while you last, because if Dom comes out on the weekend you lot will be coming back and doing the show on Monday.

There's a reason you don't bring Dom anywhere.

Some of the World Cup matches have been absolutely boring, so may be if England can get up a gear they do have a chance of sneaking through and winning the World Cup. If it keeps on like this it won't be a competition worth remembering.

Have fun, and remember it's not a holiday until you've had to wash your underwear in a cold river.
