DESPOT DICTATOR BLIND DATE
Love it...
... once again not much for us lads here. Women don't tend to want to control, conquer or commit genocide, too much going on, they don't have the time.
Castro has to be a decent shout for the girls and the serious communist guys would be a challenge. Just getting them to crack the smile the world was not allowed to see would be worth it. Ladies you'd have them licked in the throb of a vein.
Staunch, stern, severe and so serious, what a dull existence. So what if nations live in fear of your every breath. You're going to be in bed on your own at night or lying in the bath knowing no one likes you. What a load of cold pudding.
Alright then what if you had to mange tout right up along side a national news reader... I daren't get involved in this one...
Oh alright An...
off to prepare the ALL REQUEST FRIDAY show thing... EVERYONE IN THE OFFICE IN A BRILL MOOD TODAY.
HOPE YOU'RE WELL YOU LOT.

All is well at the Sett, and the badger is mighty proud because he has fixed the hoover (other vacuuuuum cleaners available but not fixed to the boy's exacting standards).
Glad you are all in fine fettle! You have to be kidding though. News readers?
Blimey. Thats hard. (Obviously not for here)
However, if pushed, Fred Dineage. Then if he asked 'How?' I could tell him.
Exactly how.

Day 28. Going strong...
At last, I`m doing something interesting for the weekend and could text ARF about it, but I`m not feeling all that lucky today. So just for the bloggers, I`m off to a combined party on Sunday for my two nieces, one is setting off soon on an around the World journey with her freind, and my other niece is off to study medicine. So that`s Sunday sorted. Blogger can I request from you Australia by The Manic`s? Thanks
Everyone have a great weekend, and if your down in the dumps, do something different, get a bit of exercise in and think of better times in your life, cos better days will follow.
m xxx
PS I`ve just read some of my blogs this week. Yeeks, I sounded oh so serious, stuff about polititians, the state of the nation etc. Perhaps I need a drink! Only joking.

Gingembre- no not becky mantin. She used to fancy my ex manager! she used to come in jarrolds all the time!
I'm no good with news readers! or weather girls/boys!
Is anyone going to the Alyshum (sorry thats spelt wrong) show on monday! I'm only going if the sun is out!Having a relaxing day on sunday
I am so fed up with the benefit people. They don't have a clue about m.e and my appeal is gonna be in Nottingham (yeah thats helpful living in Norwich!). So I am demanding another medical examination with a different doctor who doesn't put words in my mouth and say I can do thinks I haven't done since having m.e like going in the city on my own. Its just a horrible mess and I hate it! So off to do some knitting! Take my stress out on those needles!
They do all these programmes on people who claim all these benefits but you never hear about people who need the benefits and can't get them!
xx
Hi Blog people - Room for a new Annie on the Blog? Been lurkin' too long I think.
Bill Turnbull on the 91Èȱ¬ in the morning would be my cup of T. What a sense of humour:-)
Just sitting here waiting for my hubby to arrive home so that we can celebrate having sold our house today. First step in the leap to Oz for us. We've been planning this for soooo long and it feels like it's really going to happen now.
Anyway, have a great weekend folks, I read you all every day so this is my first Hi and I'll check in again on Monday.
Annie
MJ. Well done mate. Keep it up.
CLP.
A national newsreader? Simple.
Fenella Fudge. The best name in the business.
She sounds so sweet. Ahem.
Had a great day today. The previous owners of MfR Heights decided to put a border round the hall, stairs and landing using industrial strength glue. We've spent the whole blimmin' day trying to coax the bloody thing off the walls. I think we're there now, but it means that the whole weekend will now be taken up with this irritating thing called 'DIY'.
Hey. Ho.
The steam engines are rolling into Rudgwick in force today as it is the festival weekend.
Think of it as Glastonbury. But with slightly less mud, a few more tractors, marginally less drugs and one or two extra village idiots.
Please. If you do find the website, and it is fun, we're the ones not there.
That'll ensure I'm banned from the village planning committee for life.
If you are coming, have a good time and, if you manage to track down our place, you are welcome to pop in for a beer.
That goes for you too, Mr E.
Much peace & love
MfR
PS City dweller, successful fella
PPS Country girl, take my hand
PPPS Thank God I'm a country boy
Got to be the Paxman! I actually did walk up to him in Blackpool during party conference week and cheerily said 'hello!' till I reaised who he was. I just thought I knew him - cringe.
lech walesa
Who wouldn't with that big Handle Bar across the top lip????
DWNB
okay so not a dictator, but a Revolutionary!
Morning all,
MJ - brilliant!!! well done, so pleased for you. Have a lovely day on sunday xx
Gingembre - hope you enjoyed wed eve. Thanks for mentioning me lad. One of our Irish strikers done good too : )
CLP - loved the 'Bring Me Sunshine' and the 'who would you' blog games. Am I too late to join in 'yesterday's' game?.....
My evening-out-person would be Stephen Fry...a Leader of the Arts World (in my opinion) for sure. He would be such good company methinks and think how much I would learn. Happy 50th Birthday to him!!
My newsreader is, without doubt, the delightful Neall Patterson on Skynews, Political Editor (I think I may have just promoted him - or is that just in my dreams!!) - he may be 'Correspondent' rather than 'Editor'!! Have had a crush on him for a while. I know, I know he's not a newsreader (as such), but he can be my anchor man any day.
I love games - cheers Chris.
Sun is shining here - quite unbelievable - I may even have to take a layer off.
Mange tout, mange tout.

ps Rainbows, I'm inclined to pursue
Hi all,
Just had big row with hubby, oh dear.
I like Paxo and Bill in the morning, but as some of you may know I have a bit of a thing about Andrew Castle (I know he's not a newsreader). I've liked him since his tennis days. Talking about tennis how sad about Tim Henman retiring and i never got to see him play, I'm gutted.
thanks for reading out my text yesterday Chris, you made my day,
Have a good weekend everyone,
em xx
Hi there,
Still can't think of anyone, Dermott O'Leary is lovely though, I would love to see him read the news..........
Making the most of this sunshine, getting the eldest to cut the grass which he is most pleased about. Not. Actually scrub Dermot reading the news, how about in my back garden cutting the grass. That's more like it!
Deb x
PS. Em M, must be something in the air as me and hubby have 'had words' too. Going to cheer him up no end now and drag him around Sainsbury's with me. Happy days! x
Em M- Why is it men always get in a mood on the weekend! They just ruin it!
WHOO HOO its sunny again here in Norwich! Went to Lowestoft today with my mum and cousin but really didn't feel to good. I knew it was coming as did too much yesterday. Has any Norfolk/ Suffolk folk been to the Flying Fifteens tea room on the front in Lowestoft. They are only open from April-Sept and its the lovliest place ever. Today was no exception. I recommend that you all go as there strawberry scones are just too good!
Love all the comments about the shoes. Here's a little tip, if you go on my blog and click on the adverts I get something like 26 u.s cents and when I get to $100 they will send me a cheque, then I can get the shoes!!!
I'm gonna take a picture of my 'Carrie' bag right now for all you readers. missy xx
Good grief.
Having a fine weekend of painting (it's looking good now) and chilling.
Watched a bit of Reading/Leeds last night. The Chilis were pretty good, but how cool were Dinosaur Jr?
A band I have watched from afar but never really checked out. J Mascis is a living legend.
The jets are passing over as the 'Wings & Wheels' event climaxes over in Dunsfold (Top Gear country). This really is a nice part of the world to be in this time of year.
Tomorrow will be about 'dressing' our 'new' rooms. i.e.: Spending loads of money.
Ho. Hum. You can't take it with you.
Huge peace & love
MfR
PS This is all I came to do
Good morning each
Missy: Love the bag. You've got talent, you know.
Bingo: Didn't see Spender on Friday night but lots of lovely Geordie people in the pub were getting excited at the cricket!! What's that all about?
Btw: Once saw a car with a sticker on the back saying "Diventdunshus". Couldn't work it out till I said it out loud and then giggled all the way home. (For non-Geordies, it's slang for "Don't bump me"). Well, I thought it was funny.

Yay! It's not Monday! Christophe, I hope I find you and everyone else well?
Anyhoo, dunno about all of you, but I had a super fabby turtley BRILLIANT weekend, thank you to all those involved...
Our Pagan friends had a first wedding anniversary party on Saturday, and as the traditional pressie (apparently) is Paper, me and the badger made them a mobile of doves on a stick! I suppose you had to be there...which we were, so that's ok then...then on Sunday another friend came to visit, and we both (but not the badger, due to work committments (other committments available - hope France goes well for you Elm)) and we committed TOTAL carnage upon ourselves and my fine home city...WOT a night...have not done dancin' like that for a very long time!
Spent yesterday on the sofa. Thank gawd for soft furnishings I say...
Annie - hallo!
MfR, glad the DIY went well, your detestation of the job has been well documented by yourself on here more than once, so...well done and take five house points...x
Happy Tuesday all!
love

Newsreader - has to be Mr J Paxman - although I'm not sure he's a newsreader more of a journalist / news presenter / legend / hero and all-round scarey bloke! WOW... How sexy is intelligence.
Ain't house buying slow work.
I'd like people's advices please.
I work with a chap who is really useless, he takes credit for all the work that everyone else does and he's my boss. Deep joy.
He also lies. I've caught him out three times now - the latest is in trying to introduce conflict between myself and the new girl, who's my assistant. I know he does it because he feels very threatened by me but I really don't know how to deal with it.
He is the apple of the big boss's eye too!!!
Any words of advice out there most gratefully received.
Jx
PS Big HHHHEEEELLLLLLLLLLOOOOO to New-Annie-of-the-Blog
PPS And HUGE well done to you MJ, more than 28 days is just incredible. Go guy....
PPPS C-t-D - do you get the Guardian on Saturdays? Russel Brand's column (oooo errrr) in the sports section is fantastic, a joy to read and well funny.
Morning all,
MfR you must be near me as I am currently avoiding certain roads due to the sheer amount of steam on the roads along with caravans etc.
The weekend was great, relaxing and even full of music as the park fest was on - am looking forward to windfest at the end of Sept will be out with the camera watching the kites in the surf.
Off to work - will drop in later
