What Is (The) Music For?

There's nothing that bands like less than turning up to do an interview, only to find that the interviewer's first question is "so how did you guys get such a crazy name?". And in the main, you have to respect this.

There again, some bands are just asking for trouble.

Take the Music, the gang of northern dance-rockers whose Led Zep/Chemical Brothers hybrid predated Kasabian and who would really rather focus on the fact that they were dropped, battled with depression, and have pulled themselves back together, than the name they chose to go by when they were feeling cocky, years ago.

Sadly, that is just not how ChartBlog rolls. And seeing as they have set themselves up as being an authority on music in general (it's the THE which does it), why not ask bass player Stu some of the big questions about the subject which none of us mere bystanders have ever quite got to the bottom of?
