Craig David's Guide To A Perfect Valentine
Sorry to anyone who is desperately awaiting part two of the 'BO' feature from yesterday, but I managed to get to talk to Mr Craig David this afternoon, and seeing as it's Valentine's Day, and he is one of the most romantic men who has ever lived ever (you've heard his songs, right? According to them, he is Romeo, Cyrano De Bergerac, Casanova and James Bond rolled into one strangely-muscly torso), it seems far more important to offer romance tips to anyone who is facing a date situation tonight with an queasy heart.
The answer, it seems, lies in ice-cream, not making too much of an effort, and steering clear of misteltoe. Got that?
What I Expected: Some totally RED HOT seduction tips from Mr Lover-Man himself (yes, I know that was Shabba Ranks, but c'mon, I can hardly call him Mr What's Your Flava, can I?). That's it. It's Valentine's day, for gawdsake. I am hardly likely to ask him about Bo Selecta, now am I?
What I Did Not Expect: Who knew Craig David could be this subtle?...Listen to how unimpressed I am when he first reveals what to give your special loved-one at the top of the Eiffel tower. I really tried!..."yeah still keep it on the Eurostar, keep it semi-reasonable"...nice to hear pop stars use the same 'lost in the post' excuse as the rest of us...and whose heart would not be won over by a line like this?

I find Valentine's Day another excuse for commercialisation and giving someone the illusion of being loved.
You should always tell your partner you love them all year round, not just the one day.
