Well! How Rude!
This may have changed by the time you read these words. But, while looking at the , I noticed what seems to be an attempt to subconsciously influence everyone that Amy Winehouse (that's W.I.N.E.H.O.U.S.E.), is a bit of a moaner, and therefore not worthy of an award this year.
And if this is the case, can we please have more of it? The trouble with awards ceremonies in general is that they are so very RESPECTFUL. Adds a certain backslapping smugness to proceedings. But it doesn't have to be this way.
All it would take is for the Brits site to maybe have a bit of fun at the artists' expense - they won't care, they're being nominated for a prestigious award after all.
How about listing slightly snarky nominations for the Whosiers? Or Kate 'Tache? Or Fake That?
Or, if we're going to go the whole hog, how about the Why-ser Chiefs, or Weighty Tunstall, or Wee-owner Lewis, or Deaditors or Arctic Mankeys or Girls Alewd, or Cacksons, or Geeka, or the Poo Fighters, or the S***e Stripes, or Rispanna or Sir Appalling McCartney?
Wow! Award ceremonies are suddenly FUN AGAIN! Who knew it could be this easy?

Here is my theory on what has happened:
The person in charge of putting the
nominations on the website has seen Amy's name and immeadiately conjured up images of all the various tabloid and magazine articles about her alcoholism.
S/he has therefore assumed that when 'The Scum' or anyone else has written her surname, it has been spelt cleverly to include an alcoholic beverage, the obvious being 'wine'.
So when typing up the nominations they have thought, ' tsk! It's not really spelt like that, that's just a pun. It must be W.H.I.N.E.H.O.U.S.E.'
And there you go. . .

Also, it should be Mark Wrongsong, as in he seems to always choose the wrong song to cover. Okay that wasn't as good as yours. I especially like the Poo Fighters, because I'm immature like that.
