Take That - 'Patience'

Post categories:

Fraser McAlpine | 14:06 UK time, Tuesday, 21 November 2006

Quick history lesson for you young 'uns, Take That were the band Robbie Williams used to be in before he was the very famous solo star Robbie Williams. They were the template for all boybands that came after them, and they had some tunes which were good and some tunes which were not. Their lead singer and songwriter was called Gary Barlow.

And now they are back. Gary Barlow is still the lead singer and songwriter, and he's written a great big power ballad, like he used to do, only with some modern indie touches so's not to seem like his band are stuck in the past.

As comebacks go, it's neither genius nor idiocy. TT fans won't be put off, newbies won't be converted. They're still four blokes in a line, one singing, three looking hot and pretending, only they're all a bit older now.

Life. Goes. On.

Well believe it or not, i am passionate about these guys. Actually i am 38 now, still sing along Gary Barlow melodies. Well my wife says i should sing deeper.

I thank these guys because; i met my wife in Manchester, all the way from Stuttgart. She was searching and hoping to see mark Owen. Did I say it, yes, we got married and ever since we are still together. This includes me buying her Mark Owen CD's on her birthdays and Christmas presents which makes her TT memorabilia just bigger and bigger. When she greeted Mark Owen in Cologne she was in the seventh heaven. Any way mark, did you wear the Naroo T-Shirt present?
Again brilliant singing and I think I will talk to you, before I am famous. Otherwise Aluta Continua TT!

I got gary's and mark's songs from when the went solo, and also robbie's songs. ive seen most of their old vids from when the guys were teens, on the music channels. i think they are really funny guys, especially mark, ive seen the making of their new video "shine".
