TEXTING SPEAK

| OMG! | Crikey. Or gosh, or heck, or sheesh. |
| LOL! | Short for Laurence. Also, a way of pretending to find something funny, even if it isn't. Extra exclamation marks are used depending on how much you wish to flatter the person you say it to. |
| PMSL! | When ladies become suddenly moody for no apparent reason (that boys can understand). |
| ROFL! | Bearded entertainer. Likes animals. |
| NBF | No boyfriend (Note to self: must check this one!). |
INSTANT MESSENGERING SPEAK
| WHAT YOU SAY | WHAT IT MEANS |
| BRB |
A footballing position. Defends the goal on the right hand side of the pitch. Only used when a team coach IMs a player just before a crucial game. |
| kthxbai | Literally translated: "I've loved every precious minute we've spent together, but I'm afraid I must now make haste. Thank you dearly for all the wisdom you've imparted." One of the more polite and eloquent IM-isms. |
| ZOMG! | This is an abbreviation of the name of popular children's entertainer Zoe McGregor. Her name is often invoked when surprised, a la 'Gordon Bennett!' |
| BFFs | Boring French Fancies. Used to review badly-catered parties where the doilies don't match. |
| WTF? | "Where's the fridge?" only really used by chubby web users with a poor sense of direction. |
| M8 | Motorway in Southern Scotland. |
| GR8 | Tony the Tiger's favourite number. |
| TMI! | This is a reference to a dyslexic boy called Tim, who all of 'The Kids' know, and who probably talks a bit too much about his dyslexia. |
| Buff | To polish |
| Sick | Vomit |
| Well sick | To vomit into a well, poisoning the water for all the olden days people that need it. |
And I'm sure that in the moments since I finished working so hard on this that my entire head was glowing like a lightbulb, you'll have come up with some new ideas, you little scamps! So, whack 'em in the comments box below and I will EXCLUSIVELY REVEAL them for everyone.

Hahaha, I would write "lol" but i'm actually laughing out loud, and it seems not to define that anymore...
I especially like the "TMI!" definition. Sorry, i can't stop chuckling to myself. I now proudly have the knowledge of what these abbreviations mean, and I shall share it with my peers.
