I had a teacher like that, he was complete nut job used to scream at teachers and students alike.

so, Mr Roe has trouble controlling his class (tell me something i dont know, when i was at school he would have been walked all over).

Mr. Swan is a bully - again tell me something we dont know. He enjoys having the upper hand, and likes to make everyone around him feel about 1inch tall. Typical bully behaviour. Show favour to those who agree with you and intimidate all those you feel are worthless.

It was typical. My connection started playing up and then I was having trouble getting back on the blog. I just knew there'd be an update. And yeah, it's about time.

If any of the teachers were anything but human Adam and Co would know. I like the theory on the other tread that the teachers are in it together and the pressure is starting to get to them, hence the arguments. I dont think it was either of the teachers anyway its too obvious.

Mr Swan's got a bit of a Sue Sylvester thing going by the looks of things. Thinking he can run the school because he's coaching 'the award winning football team' lol.

I wouldn't like to be on the recieving end of one of his rants. Poor Mr Roe :(

There are some teachers who are like that, erupt over the smallest little thing. There was a teacher in my school who was notorious for it, just the slightest little thing would set him off.

But I think he's more for the verbal abuse and humiliation of people. If he'd caught Matt graffiting I think he would have shouted at him in front of the whole school rather than drown him.

FINALLY! Took long enough and I was about to go mad if this didn't appear!

Finally made an account to post a comment on these vids! Right, now to thinking...

Mr. Swan really is being portrayed as the arrogant P.E. teacher here isn't he? Now, if this were an American school, he would be within his rights - a winning sports team can bring a lot of money to the place. In the UK, it just comes across as pure arrogance; almost a counter to the usual rhetoric of: "those who can't, teach and those who can't teach, teach P.E."

Mr. Roe, on the other hand, is really passive-aggressive in the previous videos, muttering under his breath and just giving away confidential information to students. Mr. Swan is brash and arrogant, but Mr. Roe's anger make him more of a liability.

Could it be possible that Matt's killer had help to move the body? That we're not looking for one person, but rather a pair? The killer and their accomplice? Has that been passed as a theory yet, or am I repeating old thoughts?

1. He thinks anyone who cannot control a class as well as he can is beneath him. And treats them like it.
2. He seems really fond of boasting about his 'award winning' football team. Nothing egotistical at all there.
3. He is very fond of the word 'bloody'. Nothing suspicious about it, I just picked it up.
4. He is very quick to change targets.

Well we know neither of them are vampires becuase they can be seen on caemra - meaning that if one of them committed Matts murder then we would be able to see them on the CCTV :)

Out of the two I think Roe would be the most likely to snap and drown somebody. He is passive aggressive and seems to be bottling a lot of things up. That is not healthy and perhaps Matt was the hapless last straw that made him snap.

Swan, I still think he would have humiliated Matt rather than drown him cause he'd get more satisfaction from it.

I can't really get much from this but I don't think that Mr Roe just bottled it up and then let it go on Matt unless he did it and now he is just suffering the guilt (like the Owen was terrified after Annie had a word with him).

Can you imagine how Adam and Crista would interigate Mr Swan? They couldn't do it like they did with the students so it'll be really awkward me thinks.

That said, can he be the murderer? It seems that it was more premeditated than a snap decision. Someone followed Matt to the toilets, and we know matt couldnt have provoked him just before that as he was watching the girls change. I cant imagine Mr Roe being the sort to plan it like that, he would lose his bottle if it wasnt an BANG instant decision.

They seem to be spying on him in the 'next time' bit so maybe they catch him at a vulnrable moment, or they witness something that will either confirm their suspicions or negate them.

44 - Well, Christa might. Mr. Swan seems to have known her fairly well - for a teacher - and speaks sort of highly of her in the first episode. He seems almost let down at the end of episode 5 when he sees her coming out of the bathroom. I think we could assume that she might be able to find stuff out from him

So 47 is definately right. This kind of thing has to be premeditated since if it was a snap decision then it would be the nearest person being punched rather than following someone then attacking them in your prefered fashion.

I still believe it was Roe who killed Matt and that he had to enlist Swan to help get rid of the body.

Possibly Roe had something over Swann, ie Swann was having an affair with one of the students and this is why Swann hasn't reported Roe to the police. A bit of two sided blackmail. But seeing as Swann is a bully and Roe is so passive/aggressive Swann thinks he can shove him around.

Swann might want to watch his back, Roe must have a temper on him, which probably manifested itself by drowning Matt.

47, bluecow, Hmmm... good point. I was actually thinking when I re-watched ep 5 today that it looked like the person was targetting Matt, and like you said Roe wouldn't do it pre-meditated.

I still don't think it's Mr Swan either. What would he gain from drowning Matt? And I think he would have come up with a better plan if he wanted to kill him that much.

I'm leaning more toward a student now. Someone who really had it in for Matt and saw him run into the toilets and set their plan in motion. I wonder if Matt always went into the toilets last thing on a friday? Was the 'out of order' toilet his fave mitching spot when he wasn't spying on the Christa?

The way the killer opened the stall door it was really hard, they did mean to hurt Matt rather than check if anyone was in there and they got lucky he happened to be facing the toilet.

Gempire just reminded me of a theory I had but forgot since it was period 1 in school. The person must of had something in for Matt or else he could have just beat him up instead. If this person had already planned or thought about "dealing" with him then seeing him run into the toilets after just being chased by a Crompton then he/she could have thought "Perfect I'll do it now" and well you get the rest.

Due to the fact that the CCTV tapes are missing, we can assume that they are either human/Were, or don't want to leave tapes showing doors opening/closing by themselves on tape and are clever enough to think to steal them.
So, either human or Were.
And/or clever.

If they were Vamp, then they would probably know about Christa, and she probably would have been targeted.
But, a Vamp WOULD have clean-up teams, that could tidy-up Matt's body.
But Matt wasn't drained.

If they were Were, Adam would've noticed.

If they were a ghost, A,C&M would probably have spotted them.

So probably human, I think.

as for why I think its possible (not definate just a random theory) for Mr. Swan having an affair with a student.

1 - he has power, and he craves power
2 - brandy is his star pupil, she is also the most desirable girl in the school
3 - he is a bully, rather like brandys family.
4 - brandy is missing a father figure, easier to go for what you know than what you dont.
5 - brandy was sloping off to some horrible place. I think she was meeting someone. I think that someone could be Mr. Swan.
6 - its just a gut feeling. He seems the type to me.

68 - that does seem reasonable and that would be why she was around by the boys toilets near the gym. Matt just assumed she was chasing him, but she was going to meet Mr Swan, saw whoever, probably the killer, and that's why she turned back.

That would also explain why she didn't mention she was anywhere near the toilets because then she'd have to explain where she was going if she wasn't chacing Matt.
